Berwick-upon-Tweed stretches as far south as the Ponteland North Division, covering a series of rural villages including Hartburn and Netherwitton where Anne-Marie lives. In 2008 Anne-Marie led the only successful campaign to save a local Post Office in Belsay. In just six weeks Anne-Marie gathered over 5,000 signatures for a petition and sent more than 1,000 personal letters to the Government's Consultation Team.
