Anne-MarieAnne-Marie Trevelyan is a local campaigner with an ambition to become Conservative MP for the Berwick-upon-Tweed constituency. Anne-Marie listens to and works with communities, families and individuals across the constituency, which stretches from Berwick to Belsay and from Cornhill to Creswell.
In the 2010 General Election, Anne-Marie came very close to becoming our local MP. Anne-Marie achieved a huge 8.3% swing against Lib Dem Alan Beith, cutting his majority to just 2690. The Berwick constituency is Anne-Marie's home and she does not want to be the MP for anywhere else. In these finanically difficult times, she is continuing to campaign for North Northumberland to get not a penny less, and not a service less, than anywhere else in the country. Anne-Marie is a Chartered Accountant with years of experience as a financier. She lives in Netherwitton, near Longhorsley, running the farm with her husband and two young children. Anne-Marie is contstantly balancing the pressures of work, family and political campaigning. Anne-Marie also has a strong track record of raising money for charity, and has supported her local church in Netherwitton and the Great North Air Ambulance.
