Council Divisions :: Amble West with Warkworth

The Western part of Amble and the nearby village of Warkworth are connected by the River Coquet and are combined in this County Council Division.

Warkworth is dominated by its medieval castle and hosts streets busy with people enjoying cafes and restaurants. It has a successful cricket club, a small golf course and a thriving drama group. The St Lawrence Church is unique in Northumberland as an almost completely Norman building.
