The Health Secretary announced yesterday (8th February) that all over 70s and those who are Clinically Extermely Vulnerable who have not yet received an appointment for their covid vaccine, can book themselves in to one of the larger hubs (in our case the Centre for Life in Newcastle). This is of course only suitable for those able to travel, and that is a valid reason to travel during lockdown.
Please do not phone your GP - this is a self-referral system for larger hubs and will take pressure off GP hubs, by leaving them to vaccinate less able to travel to receive their vaccine.
It would be helpful to have your NHS number when booking your appointment. If you do not have that at home, you can find it HERE
You can also book for others with their permission and with their details.
