Relief as Lynx won’t be introduced to Kielder

Anne-Marie Trevelyan, MP for Berwick-upon-Tweed, has expressed her relief that the Environment Secretary Michael Gove has listened to local concerns and decided not to allow the re-introduction of Lynx into Kielder Forest.

Anne-Marie Trevelyan, MP for Berwick-upon-Tweed, was delighted to open the new jetty at Berwick Harbour on Friday, built with a £2million grant from the Government’s Coastal Communities Fund.

MP resigns from Government over Brexit Withdrawal Agreement

Anne-Marie Trevelyan has resigned from her role as a Parliamentary Private Secretary to the Education Ministers because she cannot support the proposed withdrawal agreement with the EU.
