MP DROPS IN TO BERWICK VISITOR CENTRE

Anne-Marie Trevelyan, MP for Berwick-upon-Tweed, paid a visit to the Berwick Visitor Centre on Walkergate.  She was met by Director Chris Hardie who explained what the goals of the centre were and gave her a tour of the facilities.  Anne-Marie also watched the recent promotional film of Berwick.

Amble First School hosts local MP

Anne-Marie Trevelyan, MP for Berwick-upon-Tweed, was delighted to be able to visit Amble First School on Friday.  She was met by Headteacher Helen Bruce and enjoyed a tour of the school.

Local MP visits RAF Boulmer

Anne-Marie Trevelyan, MP for Berwick-upon-Tweed, was delighted to visit RAF Boulmer on Friday to meet the new Station Commander Gp Capt K S Cowieson RAF. After a short discussion with the Station Commander she had a briefing on the role of the base from the Station’s Executive Officers. 

My week in Westminster

It's been another blistering and busy week at Westminster. Parliament returned from summer recess, with the news that it will prorogue from mid-September, over the Party Conference season when we don’t ever sit, and for a further week into October.

Anne-Marie raises defence spending in the House of Commons

Anne-Marie Trevelyan, MP for Berwick-upon-Tweed, hosted a debate in Westminster Hall this morning on defence spending. This was an opportunity for MPs to discuss how funding for defence should be spent, and to hold the Defence Minister to account.

The Time Is Now: Anne-Marie meets constituents to discuss climate change

Anne-Marie Trevelyan, MP for Berwick-upon-Tweed, was delighted to meet constituents in Westminster as part of the huge climate change rally in Parliament, The Time is Now. She met constituents who had made the long journey down to London from Wallington, the Farne Islands and Belsay.
